The HEC in Pakistan has come out with a new Degree Attestation process from 29 th May 2017 in which all candidates/ attestation agents must apply online portal for Pakistan issued degree/diploma attestation by creating their online HEC attestation accounts on the Higher Education Commission website portal and complete their online profile.
A username and password have to be created on the HEC portal:

Keep handy the following documents on your desktop for uploading:
- Degree certificate copy
- Transcript certificate copy
- HSSC or intermediate certificate copy
- SSC copy
- CNIC copy
- Passport copy
- One passport size photograph
Once the uploading is completed successfully on the HEC portal, you will need to use TCS courier service to send the hardcopy originals degree & transcripts to the HEC office Islamabad, HEC Lahore, HEC Karachi, HEC Peshawar, or HEC Quetta, depending on the individual and the closest proximity to any of the HEC offices.
The HEC then confirms the receipt of documents once the TCS courier service delivers them.
HEC then stamp the relevant certificates for a price ranging @ PKR 800 per certificate.
The HEC attestation completed, the documents will be dispatched by TCS courier or any other back to the student’s address.

HEC attestation varies from 10 working days to 15 working days.
Now with the current Covid situation, HEC is functioning only two days a week. The online application can be completed, but the window for physical stamping is restricted to twice a week.
If an experience certificate attestation from Pakistan is required, the experience certificate should be on the company letterhead. Then the experience certificate should be stamped by the relevant departments. For example, if it is a teaching experience certificate, the certificate must be attested by the District Education Officer. Followed by this will be the MOFA Pakistan attestation. Finally, the UAE embassy attestation.
